Janoshik · Independent Third-Party Verification Standards
Independent analytical records provide a traceable basis for laboratory procurement. Reviewing the original results, sample identifiers and supplier lot records helps institutions assess material specifications and maintain an auditable research supply chain.
The independent laboratory reference
Janoshik provides analytical testing services and a public report-verification portal. Its laboratory record is an external reference against which procurement teams can compare supplier-provided documents. A listed report should be evaluated using its original methods, sample description and reported results.
Chromatographic purity and molecular characterization
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) separates sample components and supports assessment of chromatographic purity under the stated analytical conditions. Mass Spectrometry (MS) measures mass-to-charge ratios and can support molecular-mass characterization. Exact peptide sequence confirmation requires suitable additional analytical evidence; molecular mass alone does not establish an exact sequence. The methods performed on an individual sample must be confirmed from its report.
Purity and tested mass are different measurements
A chromatographic purity percentage describes the relative analytical signal attributed to the target component under the reported method. A quantitative content result, such as 10.47 mg, describes the measured amount of the specified analyte. These values answer different questions: a high purity percentage does not establish that the nominal vial quantity is present. Procurement teams should review both results and any stated uncertainty, units and sampling limitations. One sample does not establish uniformity across an entire batch.
Direct verification through the laboratory
Janoshik’s verification portal accepts a task number and unique key to locate the laboratory’s original record. Compare the returned sample description, date and results with the supplied document. This direct lookup helps identify altered or mismatched reports. The key is a report-lookup identifier; it should not be described as a digital signature, blockchain record or guarantee against forgery.
Procurement review and chain of custody
Retain the original laboratory reference with the purchase record and reconcile the submitted sample identifier with the supplier’s batch and lot documentation. Independent testing is an important procurement control where required by institutional procedures, rather than a universal legal requirement. Analytical results do not establish suitability for human or animal use. Materials are restricted to research use only.
This record applies to the submitted sample. It is a sourcing reference and does not establish safety for human or animal use.
